Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Lions vs. Oak Grove Eagles

The Lincoln Lions just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Oak Grove Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Lincoln is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 57 points on Thursday, they were much more limited against Live Oak on Monday. They lost to the Acorns at home by a 41-22 margin. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Oak Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 50-34 fall against Del Mar.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Oak Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Everything came up roses for Lincoln against Oak Grove in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 71-37 win. Will Lincoln repeat their success, or does Oak Grove have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
