Guthrie never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Western Heights Jets with a sharp 12-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bluejays needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

The victory made it two in a row for Guthrie and bumps their season record up to 14-16-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Western Heights, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-21.

Guthrie didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-4 victory against Noble on the 9th. Western Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
