Recap: Bethel Christian Kings vs. The Grove School Ravens
The Bethel Christian Kings waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 40-6 win over The Grove School at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Bethel Christian has posted against The Grove School since January 24, 2022.
Among those leading the charge was Kaila Ellison, who scored eight points along with five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Havlicheck, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Bethel Christian pushed their record up to 5-9 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely The Grove School, they, and Calvary Baptist. As for The Grove School, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Bethel Christian and Mesa Grande Academy will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for The Grove School, they will be playing at home against Calvary Baptist at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
