LaGrange proved they can win big on Monday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Callaway Cavaliers 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Grangers have posted since March 1st.

LaGrange has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Callaway, they moved to 15-7 with that defeat, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, LaGrange will face off against Woodward Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Grangers 3.1, the War Eagles 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Callaway, they will be playing at home against Morgan County at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
