Alameda's contest on Tuesday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They took their game with ease, bagging a 65-35 victory over the Castro Valley Trojans. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 28 points or more this season.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Victoria Feliciano, who posted six points. Naomi Chew was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for Alameda and bumps their season record up to 10-5. As for Castro Valley, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Alameda will challenge Bishop O'Dowd at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alameda has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Castro Valley has already played their next contest (against San Leandro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
