Baseball Recap: Waynflete Victorious

Waynflete took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Old Orchard Beach, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Flyers came out on top against the Seagulls on Tuesday by a score of 2-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Waynflete's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Old Orchard Beach, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.
