There's no place like home for Fernley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the South Tahoe Vikings by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The Vaqueros haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win didn't come easy: South Tahoe scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 20-25, 25-21.

Fernley's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for South Tahoe, they dropped their record down to 10-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Fernley and South Tahoe will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Vaqueros will square off against rival Lowry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, South Tahoe is set to take on their familiar foe Wooster at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
