Basketball Game Preview: Ponderosa Bruins vs. East Union Lancers

The Ponderosa Bruins will take on the East Union Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Ponderosa is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 67-34 victory over Ceres. The Bruins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, East Union had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.2 points) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Thursday. They came out on top against the Fighting Zebras by a score of 45-36.

The win made it two in a row for Ponderosa and bumps their season record up to 26-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34 points. As for East Union, their victory bumped their record up to 23-6.

Ponderosa strolled past East Union in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 55-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ponderosa since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
