Football Recap: Pratt's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pratt won against Chaparral last Friday with 35 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Greenbacks didn't even let the Collegiate Spartans on the board, marking the Greenbacks' second-straight 35-0 shutout. The Greenbacks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 35 points or more this season.

Cade Liggett had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 207 yards and one touchdown while picking up 10.9 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 58 yards. Arley Morrell was in the mix as well, providing Pratt with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Pratt was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 332 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Pratt didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Morrell and Kameron Cox.

The win (which was Pratt's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.0 points over those games. As for Collegiate, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pratt will welcome Phillipsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Collegiate, they will be playing at home against Clearwater on Friday. The Spartans are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
