Central Valley Christian extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Kingsburg. They won by a run and slipped past the Vikings 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Cavaliers: when they faced off against the Vikings on May 1st, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Jentzen Dunn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brody Pimental, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Pursell, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

The victory made it two in a row for Central Valley Christian and bumps their season record up to 17-13. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Kingsburg, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-8.

Looking ahead, Central Valley Christian is taking a road trip to square off against Edison at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kingsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
