Volleyball Recap: North Branch Victorious

North Branch saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Providence Academy Lions by a score of 2-0.

Despite the loss, Providence Academy had strong showings from Brooke Huegel, who had 18 digs and two assists, and Elizabeth Smyth, who had nine digs.

The victory got North Branch back to even at 9-9. As for Providence Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.

Looking ahead, North Branch will square off against Chisago Lakes Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Providence Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Rocori on the 11th.
