Football Recap: Josiah Waters Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat South Carolina S

The GRACE Christian Eagles didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the South Carolina S Spartans on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 34-30 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

GRACE Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Josiah Waters out in front who threw for 290 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per attempt, and also punched in two TDs on the ground. A healthy portion of Waters' aerial production (153 yards to be exact) went to Christopher White, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

GRACE Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for South Carolina S, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. GRACE Christian will welcome Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Carolina S, they will square off against Greenville H at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
