Softball Recap: St. Charles West Takes a Loss

St. Charles West started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Winfield. They fell 8-5 to Winfield on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. Charles West of the 16-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

St. Charles West's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Winfield, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Coming up, St. Charles West will square off against Bayless at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Winfield, they will challenge Liberty at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
