Baseball Recap: West Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Culver Community on Thursday, West Central came back down to earth. The Trojans lost 11-5 to the Rensselaer Central Bombers on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Izzy Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

West Central moved to 11-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Rensselaer Central, with the victory, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-12.
