Basketball Recap: Braddock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Braddock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 62-42 to the Miami Christian Victors.

Miami Christian was led to victory by Anthony Solis and Carlos Martinez. Solis went 7-for-16 to rack up 17 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals, while Martinez posted seven points along with eight assists and six boards. The Victors are 2-1 when Solis posts three or more steals, but 0-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Antony Gonzalez, who scored eight points.

Braddock's record now sits at 2-6. As for Miami Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Braddock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 82-48 loss against Miami on the 16th. Miami Christian will take on Avant Garde Academy in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Victors will be up against the Sharks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
