Basketball Game Preview: Santa Fe Christian Eagles vs. Mission Vista

The Santa Fe Christian Eagles will venture away from home to challenge Mission Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Friday, Santa Fe Christian lost to Escondido Charter on the road by a 57-42 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Mission Vista had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 39-26.

Santa Fe Christian better keep an eye on Jordynn Rogers. She was instrumental in Mission Vista's win, putting up 19 points. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Sidhu, who posted ten points.

Mission Vista pushed their record up to 13-12 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points over those games. As for Santa Fe Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-15.
