Softball Recap: Kingsley-Pierson's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

Kingsley-Pierson came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lawton-Bronson Eagles, falling 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since July 1, 2024.

Kingsley-Pierson moved to 8-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Lawton-Bronson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Kingsley-Pierson has already played their next contest (against Sioux Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lawton-Bronson, they will face off against Ridge View at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raptors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.33 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
