Soccer Recap: Delta Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maumee Valley Country Day, Delta was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lake Flyers by a score of 5-3. The victory continues a trend for Delta in their matchups with Lake: they've now won four in a row.

Delta's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4-1.

Coming up, Delta will venture away from home to take on Pettisville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Delta will be up against Pettisville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.83 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lake, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Rossford at 5:00 p.m. Lake are facing Rossford at the right time seeing as Rossford are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
