Basketball Recap: Carson Starts Season with Win at Home

Carson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the South East Jaguars by a score of 46-35. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Carson can attribute much of their success to Isra Neal, who posted 16 points. That's the most points Neal has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Danaye (Dee) Lizama (Griego), who scored ten points.

Carson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-21 win against Bell on the 19th. As for South East, they will face off against Dominguez at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
