Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Tigers vs. Gary Bobcats

The Trinity Tigers and the Gary Bobcats will round out the year against one another at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Trinity turned things around against Cypress Christian last Thursday. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 61-49.

Meanwhile, Gary strolled past Central Heights with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 61-47. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 499th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Trinity back to even at 8-8. As for Gary, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.
