Soccer Recap: Jackson County Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Jackson County has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Habersham Central Raiders on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Jackson County of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Jackson County's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Habersham Central, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Jackson County and Habersham Central will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Panthers see the pitch they'll take on Social Circle at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Habersham Central, their break will end when they face Rabun County at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th.
