Football Recap: Tift County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tift County entered their contest against Richmond Hill on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Blue Devils came up short against the Wildcats, falling 35-10. The matchup marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Damieon Dixon threw for 181 yards and one TD. Dai'Jon Hayes was his top target, picking up 121 receiving yards. On the ground, Kamari Holloman rushed for 65 yards.

Richmond Hill's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amire Miller, who rushed for 77 yards and a pair of scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Gunner Mobley, who threw for 140 yards and one touchdown.

Tift County's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Richmond Hill, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Tift County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 35-0 defeat against Lowndes on the 3rd. As for Richmond Hill, they have also already played their next matchup, a 24-20 victory against Camden County on the 3rd.
