Basketball Recap: DuBois Comes Up Short

DuBois was the 49-42 winner over St. Marys when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The DuBois Beavers fell 51-39 to the St. Marys Flying Dutch on Friday.

DuBois dropped their record down to 4-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for St. Marys, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DuBois has already played their next game (against Bradford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. St. Marys will challenge Punxsutawney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
