Basketball Recap: Abington Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Abington had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down the Wissahickon Trojans 62-48 on Tuesday. Given the Galloping Ghosts' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Trojans are ranked 531st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Abington now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Wissahickon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abington will head out to face off against Plymouth Whitemarsh at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wissahickon, they will venture away from home to take on Norristown at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
