Softball Recap: Cedaredge Bruins vs. Gunnison Cowboys
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Delta, Cedaredge was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Gunnison Cowboys 18-1. This was payback for the Bruins, who suffered a 19-14 loss the last time these two teams met.

Tia Homedew was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two doubles.
