Softball Recap: Fountain-Fort Carson Comes Up Short

Fountain-Fort Carson lost against Vista Ridge back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans came up short against the Wolves, falling 15-5. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Danielle Cooley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Everly Harrington, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Fountain-Fort Carson's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Vista Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

While Fountain-Fort Carson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
