Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Butte Valley). They really took it to the Happy Camp Indians for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-20 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bulldogs had established a 28 point advantage.

Kohen Thomas was a one-woman wrecking crew for Butte Valley as she went 5 for 9 en route to 13 points in addition to six assists and four steals. Another player making a difference was Madison Wilson, who posted nine points and three steals.

Butte Valley now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Happy Camp, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Butte Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 57-18 win against Dunsmuir on the 14th. As for Happy Camp, they will square off against Tulelake at 5:00 p.m. on January 17th.
