Baseball Game Preview: East Forsyth Broncos vs. Madison County Red Raiders

The East Forsyth Broncos will square off against the Madison County Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

East Forsyth had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Milton on Wednesday. The Broncos put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 7-1 win. Considering the Broncos have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Madison County got themselves on the board against Jackson on Thursday, but Jackson never followed suit. They blew past the Red Devils 10-0. The Red Raiders not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 22nd.

East Forsyth is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Madison County, their win bumped their record up to 5-22.

East Forsyth was able to grind out a solid victory over Madison County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 4-0. Will the Broncos repeat their success, or do the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
