Basketball Game Preview: Tokay Tigers vs. Turlock Bulldogs

Having just played yesterday, the Tokay Tigers will get right back to it and host the Turlock Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tokay has four straight wins, Turlock has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

If Tokay beats Turlock with 48 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Tokay was the clear victor by a 48-22 margin over Galt on Monday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 509th, while the Warriors are ranked 1125th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Turlock played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Dublin and fell 62-16. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-10.

Turlock's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Tokay, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.
