Football Recap: Wakefield Comes Up Short

Wakefield played against Hanover on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Wakefield is on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. As for Hanover, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Wakefield will square off against Frankfort at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bombers will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hanover, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Axtell at 7:00 p.m. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
