Football Recap: Sioux Valley Takes a Loss

Sioux Valley and Elk Point-Jefferson squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Sioux Valley had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 49-14 loss at the hands of the Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-26 two weeks ago.

Although Sioux Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Braden Danzeisen and Wyatt Hardt.

Sioux Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Sioux Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they will take on Deuel on Friday.
