Soccer Recap: Stratford Academy Comes Up Short

Stratford Academy fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Harris County on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Stratford Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.

Stratford Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-3 record this season. As for Harris County, their record now sits at 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stratford Academy will welcome Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harris County, they will be playing at home against Brookstone at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
