Soccer Game Preview: Dimond vs. South Anchorage

The Dimond Lynx will face off against the South Anchorage Wolverines at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dimond is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Colony. The result kept Dimond happy, as they haven't lost a game since May 12th.

Meanwhile, South Anchorage faced West Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wolverines never let the Wolf Pack get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. South Anchorage might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by four goals or more this season.

Dimond has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for South Anchorage, their win bumped their record up to 18-0.
