Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy came into Friday's game looking for another win against Northampton County, but Amare Gills wouldn't allow it. The Jaguars enjoyed a cozy 34-20 victory over the Trojans on Friday for which the team can thank Gills, who rushed for 269 yards and four TDs while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. He is becoming a predictor of Northampton County's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 0-6 when he doesn't).

Northampton County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.0 points over those games. As for Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-4.
