Soccer Game Preview: Kirtland vs. Fairview

The Kirtland Hornets will square off against the Fairview Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kirtland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Kirtland and Lutheran West had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Hornets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Longhorns on Thursday. Kirtland better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Bram Crisci, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Meanwhile, Fairview kept a clean sheet against Perry on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 6-0 win. Fairview might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Fairview is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those seven contests. As for Kirtland, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-3.
