Soccer Game Preview: Monta Vista vs. Saratoga

Monta Vista hasn't had much luck against Saratoga recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Monta Vista Matadors will venture away from home to face off against the Saratoga Falcons at 6:00 p.m.

Monta Vista is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Cupertino on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Pioneers.

Meanwhile, everything went Saratoga's way against Milpitas on Tuesday as Saratoga made off with a 5-1 victory. With the Falcons ahead 4-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Saratoga's win bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Monta Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Monta Vista might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Saratoga in their previous matchup back in February of 2022. Can Monta Vista avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
