Football Game Preview: Paint Branch Panthers vs. Whitman Vikings + How To Watch

The Paint Branch Panthers will challenge the Whitman Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Paint Branch is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Paint Branch is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 63-0 win over Springbrook. The Panthers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Alijah Bah produced another solid effort rushing for 198 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, while also picking up 42 receiving yards. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024. Vincent Do was another key player, throwing for 213 yards and three TDs on only ten passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Paint Branch was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 249 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 48 points the game before, Whitman was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were beaten by Blair 42-7.

Paint Branch's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Whitman, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Paint Branch against Whitman in their previous meeting back in September of 2018, as the team secured a 45-0 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
