Baseball Recap: Orangeville Comes Up Short

Orangeville had lost 11 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 2-15 to make it 12. They came up short against the Lena-Winslow Panthers, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Broncos have lost by exactly ten runs.

As for Lena-Winslow, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2. They haven't had any issues with Orangeville recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

For Lena-Winslow's part, Jaden Schubert was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI Schubert has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Mahon, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

While Orangeville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
