Hercules won the last time they faced Richmond and things went their way on Friday too. The Titans put the hurt on the Oilers with a sharp 15-3 victory. Considering the Titans have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Luis Suarez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Wynston Bishop, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Hercules was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Richmond only posted a batting average of .222.

The win made it two in a row for Hercules and bumps their season record up to 7-8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Richmond, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Hercules didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-1 win against Swett on the 9th. As for Richmond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-2 victory against Mt. Diablo on the 9th.
