Oglethorpe County proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 17) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Providence Christian Academy Storm 5-4. The win was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Oglethorpe County's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Providence Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-6.
