Kingman is a perfect 5-0 against Douglass since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Bulldogs. Kingman comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Kingman is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Southeast of Saline on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles took a blow against the Trojans, falling 58-6. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Trojans are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Douglass came up short against Haven on Friday and fell 31-20. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Kingman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Douglass, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Kingman against Douglass in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 41-12 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
