Baseball Game Preview: Wilcox County Patriots vs. Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs

The Wilcox County Patriots will take on the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs on Tuesday. Wilcox County is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

Wilcox County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past Baconton Charter 2-1.

Wilcox County's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tre Griffin, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Emanuel County Institute not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15th (when they won 12-2). Everything went their way against Charlton County as they made off with an 8-1 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won 15 games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Wilcox County's win bumped their record up to 24-7. As for Emanuel County Institute, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 28-7.

Wilcox County took their win against Emanuel County Institute in their previous matchup back in April of 2019 by a conclusive 16-1 score. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
