Football Recap: Williston Takes a Loss

Williston lost against Red River back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Coyotes were beaten by the Roughriders 56-6.

Williston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Red River, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Williston and Red River could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Dakota Rankings. The Coyotes will take on Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (57 vs. 9). Meanwhile, Red River (ranked 28th) will meet Kindred (ranked first) on Friday.
