Softball Recap: Wheat Ridge Takes a Loss

Wheat Ridge managed to slip by Green Mountain the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Farmers came up short against the Rams on Tuesday, falling 12-0. The Farmers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Wheat Ridge has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season. As for Green Mountain, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wheat Ridge is set to challenge their familiar foe Dakota Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Green Mountain will take on rival Conifer at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
