Soccer Recap: Lincoln County Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Lincoln County's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Towns County Indians on Thursday. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Lincoln County and nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Towns County, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Looking ahead, Lincoln County will head out on the road to take on Banks County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Towns County, they will venture away from home to challenge Crescent at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Towns County will be up against Crescent's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.25 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
