Recap: South Hills Huskies vs. Rowland Raiders
The South Hills Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to Rowland. South Hills has struggled against Rowland recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Rowland found their leader in underclassman Isabella Tran, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrienne Bausley, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
South Hills has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season. As for Rowland, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-16.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Hills will take on Wilson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wilson is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Rowland, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Walnut at 5:00 p.m. Hopefully Walnut focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Tuesday.
