Miguel Alaniz posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.

Looking ahead, Alaniz and Santa Maria will be playing in front of their home fans against Kaufer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars are 6-1 against the Seahawks going back to October of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
