Recap: York County Tech Spartans vs. Red Land Patriots
The York County Tech Spartans lost against the Red Land Patriots back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. York County Tech took a serious blow against Red Land, falling 65-31. York County Tech was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-10.
York County Tech's loss came despite strong showings from Marissa Parker and Le'Icessess Harrison. Parker scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, while Harrison scored 14 points. Parker hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games.
York County Tech has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Red Land, their win bumped their record up to 1-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. York County Tech will take on Littlestown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Littlestown is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Red Land, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hershey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hershey comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
