Soccer Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Lumpkin County Indians.

Commerce's record is now 3-10. As for Lumpkin County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Commerce and Lumpkin County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Tigers see the pitch they'll take on Winder-Barrow at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Lumpkin County, their break will end when they face Union County at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.
