If Carroll wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Flour Bluff, they should've done a better job of containing Hollie Santos. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers on Friday for which the team can thank Santos, who had 14 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-18, 25-15.

Flour Bluff is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season. As for Carroll, they moved to 14-13 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Flour Bluff has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on the 23rd. As for Carroll, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Banquete on the 23rd.
